This week we'll be taking a lateral approach to drawing. Each day we will focus the workshop on a specific approach to thinking through the basic elements of drawing: line, space, chance, control and light.

Day 1, tomorrow, we will start by drawing in space and in opposition to linear perspective...

please bring: appropriate clothes for working in; small stones or weights; string; plastic bags (or any such cheap and available material that you have)

for all days please bring: your sketch books; and drawing materials (pens, pencils, graphite, erasers, cutting knives etc)
